10am to 4pm on the following days:

Autumn (to the end of April): We are open Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and all public holidays (Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, and Anzac Day).

Winter (May to the end of August): We are open Saturdays, Sundays and Queen's Birthday (Monday June 3). 

Private Tours can be arranged on any day at a time by appointment.

STORYTELLING GUIDED TOURS

To discover the secrets of Stonehenge Aotearoa and other stone circles we recomend that you book into one of our story-telling guided tours which provides a complete experience and is tailored to weather conditions. Our tours include tales from antiquity of the solstices, equinoxes and signs of the zodiac.  You will discover how stones, posts and shadows were used to unlock mysteries of the earth and sky which formed a cornerstone to the rise of civilization.

Guided Tours are held at 11am on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

GUIDED TOUR FEE: Adults: $16, Senior Citizens (65+) and Students (13-17 yrs): $13, Children (pre-teens) $8.

  Allow at least an hour for your tour and please arrive about 10 minutes before your session is due to begin.  For more information see "Taking a tour of Stonehenge".

PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS

Private and group tours may be arranged on any day at a time by appointment.  The fee per person is the same as a public tour except that there is a minimum charge of $90 (which is covered with 6 adult fees) if the tour is held during normal opening hours.  At other times the minimum fee is $200.

TREK AROUND THE STONES

During opening hours, subject to other functions that may be taking place, you may take yourself around the Henge on a self-guided tour.  We provide a map and information sheet and a short audio-visual which explains what the Henge is and how the stones work.   The fee is Adults $6, Children (pre-teens) $3.  You do not need to book for a 'Trek'.
